Aloha. Welcome to the first annual island-wide Neighborhood Watch seminar, Solutions 2002: Neighborhoods In Action, sponsored by Kealakehe and Kona Heavens Neighborhood Watch programs and co-sponsored by the Department of the Attorney General.
By attending this seminar, participants will be able to share insights and experiences from various types of neighborhoods and areas of expertise. Our goal is to establish interaction and to foster cooperation between Neighborhood Watch programs and police and community leaders for the purpose of sharing solutions for an enhanced quality of life throughout the Big Island of Hawaii.
I would like to thank all of you for participating in this first island-wide Neighborhood Watch seminar. We hope attendees will gain information and contacts to create better partnerships within your community.
