SEMINAR EVALUATION COMMENTS
- It was a very good seminar...the best one I have seen since arriving in Hawaii in 1975. Thanks for making our material available and I trust to continue to hear from you. Kona
- Teach presenters how to use a microphone so people can hear. Repeat questions form the audience for the same reason. Ka`u
- Same-oh-same-oh stuff. Nothing much illuminating. More useful to me would be more discussion on prevention of drug use and even legalization of some substances. South Kohala
- Drugs - should have a display of the drugs and paraphernalia - effects (visual) of drugs to persons using it - would be helpful. Visual in "Bust" was very vivid - which other speakers should review. If the wording is blurred - those sitting in the back cannot read the words. Hilo
- Perhaps one of the best seminars I have attended - certainly the best cross-section of island residents in one place I have seen in the 28 years I've lived in Hawaii. The thread was people had been affected by crime and that we need more and visible representation by the police enforcing laws that are already on the books. Hope is what all people need. Thanks for this forum and please stay in touch. North Kona
- "Planning for Livable Communities" - unhelpful but interesting. Puna
- I hear the mayor say he wanted to hear from the community - then saw him walk out of the conference early - that's communication. Kona
- Is there a way to subsidize the registration fee for those who can't afford it? The fee eliminates those who cannot pay.
- What's happening in the Drug Program - Loved this presentation!
- Billy Kenoi's presentation was outstanding! Highlight of the day! Inspiring! Whole conference - very well organized! And interesting! South Kona
- Property Workshop - topics were too general i.e.; education, family therapy. Need more on details to immediately affect the problem. Ka`u
- Traffic - excellent workshop. Hilo
- What's happening in the Drug Program - Billy Kenoi - awesome. Kamuela
- What's happening in the Drug Program - Billy Kenoi - 100% - Waimea Kamuela

- Very well organized conference, Lil Billy Kenoi for President or Mayor someday? Captain Cook
- Lil: First - Mahalo PLENTY for the tremendous job you did pulling together Saturday's workshop! Awesome and INSPIRING! In fact, you got those of us w/the POWER OF CHOICE: Waimea Response to ICE TASK FORCE so charged up that we're gung-ho to start a major community education campaign around an "Aole Drugs!" theme (NO DRUGS). Mahalo plenty! And bless you!!! - Waimea
- Lil, may I extend my warmest Mahalo Nui to you for a maika`i day of Solutions 2003. I want to also say Mahalo for letting me attend that workshop on a scholarship basis. I met some awesome people there and now we are connecting up with her kind of work and inviting her to attend and be part of our Power of Choice group. You know what is so funny she lives down the road @ Pua Nani in Waimea. Just awesome, then this guy wants to meet with us, he is from the Hawaii Journal newspaper and offered our group to write a space about what we do and who we are. Maika'I for all the wonderful people that I have met at the Solutions 2003. Again, from my heart, Mahalo Nui and Ke Akua Po'omaika`I olua. "Power of Choice" Waimea
