Dogs Comments:
We have several houses and there are barking dogs at all of them.
Owners should be required to pick up dog feces left behind during walks/roaming.
Unattended loose dogs
Too many dogs on this island
More humane treatment
Dogs that make unprovoked attacks on people or animals should be destroyed immediately.
I think human beings need to adapt to their environment better.

Cats Comments:
We don't have cat but have cat spray on our deck furniture weekly.
People feed stray cats and say that someday they will catch the cats and have them neutered. Hardly ever happens.
Law should REQUIRE spay & neuter
Too many cats on this little island.

Should require that all domestic cats be neutered. Feral cats should be captured and neutered.

Rooster/Chicken Comments:
Daily wake up call.
The wild chickens destroy my garden and scratch up the roots of my new coffee trees, They are feathered menaces!
Lice and other pests from so many roosters/chickens
More containment.

Cockfighting and the raising of cocks for fighting should be disallowed and the cocks destroyed.
The amount of people that have fighting cocks and disregard their neighbors is staggering. When you call humane society or police nothing is done. There is no law regarding noise from chickens. Have you ever lived next to them? On a full moon you won't get a bit of sleep. Draft rules and regulations for this nuisance...

None in our area.

Agricultural crop damage from wild pigs a big worry
Nightly odor from piggery when mauka wind starts
The odor emanating from a nearby pig farm is awful. Most of the time during dinner hour. The nearby stream is contaminated.
Pig farms in areas of housing (other than owner's property should be required to grain feed not slop feed to control odors. There are big holes in the State and County laws that allow piggeries to cause a horrific stench when slop from restaurants is used for feed. Bad planning as usual.

Poaching
Owners don't clean-up horse poop, causes smell & flies, which carry disease

Rodents Comments:
Especially mongoose
How to be a better trapper of rats?
Rats, mice & mongoose(s). How to rid this island of them?
A good rat is a DEAD rat!

General Comments:

Comments: What about pigeons? I just moved back to the palisades area and noticed that pigeons are starting to settle in . . . I know that in Oahu this has become a MAJOR problem and out of control.
